A few more hours and the weekend is here! Granted, for me, the weekend is always here because I’m on staycation, yay! However, I’m looking forward to the real weekend because while John is at work, I’m a prisoner in my own home. Earlier this week, I brought my car in for an inspection and was informed it needed a LOT of work done before it would pass. Oops. I’m hoping it will be done tomorrow.
Luckily, I can walk to a good number of places (it’s part of why I love this little town), and I was able to get my hair cut this week for the first time in months and months. I’ve been trimming my own bangs with somewhat disastrous results, so I was happy to have a professional fix it.
Whenever I get my hair done I resolve to actually style it for real, and then give it up after approximately one day. Maybe I’ll get one of those 2-in-1 spinbrush blow dryer/hair brush things, although I suspect they are roughly zero percent effective.
I also finally got around to a Pinterest-inspired organization project for my scarves.

The only bad thing is that the rings all slide to one side and tip the hangar. I’m working on a plan to secure a few in the middle. I’m still declaring it an overall success.
